We’re hiring on behalf of a leading international law firm operating across multiple CEE countries. 

We’re looking for a people-focused IT Support Manager to lead the internal IT support operations across multiple Central and Eastern European offices. This is not a strategic or infrastructure-heavy role — it’s about leading a mid-sized team, delivering great support, and keeping the engine running smoothly day to day

You’ll manage a group of 10+ IT support professionals (mostly L1), helping them prioritize tasks, improve workflows, and maintain high service quality. You’ll also work closely with the IT Director, HR, Finance, external vendors, and local office contacts to ensure service continuity and a positive IT experience for your colleagues.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Oversee daily operations of the IT department and ensure smooth service delivery across multiple CEE offices
  • Lead and coordinate the L1 IT Support team (10+ members); mentor team members and promote collaboration
  • Monitor ticket queues, track SLAs, and report on team performance and user satisfaction
  • Define and implement internal IT policies, procedures, and documentation standards
  • Maintain the internal IT knowledge base and support documentation practices
  • Ensure internal communication runs smoothly (Teams, shared mailboxes, DLs, etc.)
  • Own IT onboarding/offboarding and user lifecycle processes with HR
  • Maintain IT asset records and ensure compliance with asset policies
  • Spot process inefficiencies and collaborate on improvements
  • Act as a liaison with internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, Legal) and vendors
  • Support business continuity and recovery processes (no infrastructure ownership)
  • Help maintain vendor/supplier relationships and support IT budgeting discussions
  • Stay up to date with IT support trends and suggest relevant improvements

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • 7+ years of experience in IT Operations or similar managerial roles.
  • Experience leading IT support teams (ideally 5+ people) across multiple locations
  • Strong people management and leadership skills — coaching, prioritizing, motivating
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing systems (e.g. Jira, ServiceNow, Freshservice)
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (Microsoft stack preferred) 
  • Working knowledge of ITIL principles and SLA tracking
  • Fluency in English and a collaborative, low-ego mindset
  • Relevant certifications (CCNA, MCSA, ITIL) are a plus.
