This is a unique opportunity to work with Microsoft Fabric, influence how data is managed globally, and collaborate with international teams, all while working remotely with occasional meetups in Vsetín.

JOB SUMMARY

• Designing and maintaining end-to-end data architecture within Microsoft Fabric
• Building and orchestrating data pipelines (Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2) from multiple sources
• Implementing Medallion architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold layers)
• Working with Spark / PySpark notebooks for large-scale data transformations
• Optimizing performance and enabling real-time analytics in Power BI (Direct Lake)
• Collaborating with BI teams on semantic models and reporting structures
• Ensuring data governance, security, and compliance across the platform
• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines via Git integration

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or related tools (Azure Synapse, ADF, Power BI) 
• Strong SQL (T-SQL) and Python (PySpark) skills 
• Solid understanding of data modeling (Star Schema) 
• Experience building scalable data pipelines in cloud environments
• Knowledge of Power BI, DAX, and data optimization principles
• Ability to collaborate in an international environment (English required, Czech not needed)

Nice to have:

• Experience with manufacturing environments 
• Familiarity with process modeling (e.g. BPMN)
