Senior Functional Analyst in Credit Risk

We are looking for a Senior Functional Analyst in Credit Risk to play a key role in a major reporting initiative spanning five EU countries.

This position is ideal for a senior professional who is confident working with data, understands the full lifecycle of risk processes, and enjoys transforming complex regulatory and business requirements into clear, actionable, and reliable solutions.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Analyze regulatory reporting requirements across multiple EU banking entities
- Support the development of BI and reporting solutions (data definitions, transformations, mappings)
- Translate business needs into technical specifications
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and developers
- Participate in solution testing, documentation, and handover
- Deliver accurate, standardized regulatory reports
REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE:
- Strong banking functional knowledge – understanding products, key amounts, and financial/accounting concepts (e.g., principal amount, market value, gross carrying amount).
- Hands-on experience with at least one regulatory reporting stream (COREP, LCR, NSFR, FRTB, IRRBB).
- Solid understanding of credit risk frameworks: Basel III (internal models & SA), Basel IV, CRR/CRD, SACCR, IFRS 9.
- Expertise in LGD, EAD, PD modelling and RWA calculations.
- Proven ability to implement new data requirements in tools, create test cases, perform UAT, and handle bug fixes.
