JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide S2/S3 level application support for a database-driven transaction system running on the AIX OS platform
• Participate in the preparation and implementation of the new transaction system within the BIAT project
• Perform basic analysis, incident and problem resolution, and contribute to the development of operational procedures
• Take over application changes into production and contribute to system architecture
• Manage the database solution end-to-end and collaborate on related projects

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• At least 2 years of experience with SQL and PL/SQL and a general understanding of relational databases
• Experience with GT.M, Teradata, or Oracle is an advantage (not required)
• Basic to advanced knowledge of UNIX systems; AIX experience is a plus
• Basic understanding of scripting (Shell, Python, JSON, etc.) is an advantage
• Analytical mindset and strong willingness to learn
• Ability to communicate in English (spoken and written) at an intermediate level
• Proficiency with the Windows environment (Office, Windows OS)
