For one of our international clients, we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer who enjoys working with modern data technologies and building reliable, scalable data solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to work in a stable, international environment, collaborate with skilled engineers and data scientists, and contribute to data-driven products used across multiple countries.

Czech language is NOT required – English is the working language.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes and reusable modules
• Work mainly with Python, PySpark and Airflow
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers and architects
• Contribute to building scalable and reusable data solutions in a cloud environment
• Participate in backlog refinement, technical discussions and solution design
• Translate functional requirements into clean, maintainable technical solutions

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer and/or Software Developer in a complex IT environment
• Strong knowledge of Python; hands-on experience with PySpark and Airflow
• Experience working with data scientists and supporting the deployment of AI/ML models
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git, Jenkins, Concourse
• Experience with AWS services in the data domain (e.g. S3, EKS, ECR)
• Solid understanding of data architecture, ETL processes and data engineering best practices
• Structured mindset, attention to quality and good communication skills in English
