For our client, a stable and growing international company, we are looking for an experienced Senior M365 Engineer who will take ownership of a modern Microsoft 365 environment and drive its evolution, security, and scalability.

This is a senior, highly autonomous role with real impact – you will shape architecture decisions, improve security posture, and lead key initiatives across identity, collaboration, and compliance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Own and lead the Microsoft 365 tenant (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) including architecture decisions, migrations, and feature rollouts
• Drive identity, access, and security initiatives using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) – MFA, Conditional Access, privileged access, DLP, eDiscovery
• Oversee Exchange Online and mail flow, including email security solutions (e.g. Mimecast or similar)
• Automate and optimize the environment with PowerShell, improving efficiency, licensing, and cost control
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex incidents and lead root cause analysis
• Collaborate cross-functionally (Infrastructure, Security, IAM) and mentor junior engineers

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• 5–8+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 in enterprise environments and ownership of large-scale cloud platforms
• Strong expertise in core M365 services: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including identity lifecycle, access management, and security controls
• Solid understanding of security, compliance, and governance principles in cloud environments
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and administration
• Experience with hybrid or complex identity environments
• Proven ability to handle high-impact incidents and lead cross-functional initiatives
