We’re partnering with a global market intelligence company that helps the world’s leading technology organizations make smarter decisions through data. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a Data Engineering Manager to lead their Data Engineering function and shape the future of their data platform.

This is an opportunity to combine people leadership with hands-on technical work , working with a modern cloud data stack and a highly skilled team distributed across the Czech Republic.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead and develop multiple teams of Data Engineers and Analytics professionals
• Drive the design and architecture of scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, Snowflake and AWS
• Provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with engineering challenges
• Deliver ML and AI-based solutions, including predictive modeling, forecasting, graph analytics and entity resolution
• Build data products, dashboards and tools that transform complex datasets into actionable business insights
• Define technical standards, best practices and long-term data strategy across the organization
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and Business stakeholders on high-impact initiatives

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• 3+ years of people management experience leading technical teams
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering or related data-focused roles
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python, SQL and Snowflake
• Experience building and scaling cloud-based data platforms, ideally on AWS
• Proven track record of delivering data-driven and machine learning solutions into production
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance strategic direction and technical execution
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience with AI, Generative AI or LLM-based solutions
• Background in advanced analytics, graph technologies or forecasting models
